Inside Edge Commercial Interior Services offers Purchasing Services for customers who want us to handle the financial transactions for their commercial flooring products.

Whether you seek to minimize your number of internal transactions or to utilize a single source supplier for flooring, we are able to take on the additional cost, financing and liability of purchasing products for you. This would be done on a management fee basis in accordance with the total purchase price, as defined in our accompanying fee schedule. This service would allow us to manage flooring procurement for your project along a more traditional industry approach. However, this is where the similarities would end.

Material Management Services Include:

When we purchase materials on your behalf, we provide the same basic services included in our Material Management Services. As your single source supplier, we will perform all functions necessary to order, coordinate and deliver flooring materials from the manufacturer to your jobsite as efficiently as possible and at the lowest price. These services will be performed through our Service Center using a centralized approach.

As your purchasing agent, it is our responsibility to pay each manufacturer as invoiced per the agreed upon terms. We will then send you a consolidated invoice, including our separate management fee for each project. Our Material Management Services include:

• Material quantity estimates
• Material summary
• Material ordering
• Material coordination
• Material shipping & delivery
• Invoice management

Partial Purchasing Services

You may choose to utilize a combination of Purchasing and Material Management Services. This allows you to buy some materials directly from the manufacturer and have us provide other smaller ticket items. By combining these services, you can realize a significant cost savings while minimizing your transactions.

For example, you may purchase the carpet or other flooring direct, and have us purchase hard surface products, sundries and miscellaneous items. Thus you'll minimize the number of transactions, but only pay our higher Purchasing Fee on a portion of your flooring materials.

Warehousing

Although we are purchasing flooring products for you, this does not include warehousing or handling of materials. Our process is focused on shipping all products from the manufacturer's point of origin directly to your specified location. This saves us overhead, which in turn saves you money.

If you wish us to provide additional services to store or handle your materials, we would need to develop a specific plan to meet your needs. We will utilize manufacturers' and distributors' facilities as well as the local service providers for handling and warehousing as needed.

Our goal is to do whatever it takes to meet your needs, including providing requested value-added services not included in our basic offering.
